Sr. Packaging Engineer (PGAA)

Job Responsibilities:
Manage packaging and assembly technical projects with the company subcontractors and substrate suppliers.
Carry out subcontractors' factory audits.
Improve processes and product optimization, new package introduction, package and product qualification, yield and defect analysis, change notifications, and technical problem solving.
Also work with customers on packaging and assembly change notification.

Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Material Science) or equivalent.
Required language(s):
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of both leaded and BGA assembly processes, materials, and equipment is required
Experience or knowledge of substrate fabrication processes is required
Must have basic understanding of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical process control (SPC), quality systems, and auditing procedures
Knowledge of restricted hazardous substances legislation (RoHS) preferred
Experience in thermal analysis preferred
Knowledge of back end processes – baking and packing of components, preferred

Support process development, optimazation and improvement to production.
To lead the production line or the process control or Upcast Copper Rods Plant.
Possess supervisory / production control experience in repairing or maintaning the furnace lining and inductors relining, process control etc would be an advantage.
